The Luja Khola Cascade Hydropower Project is a proposed run-of-river (RoR) hydropower project on Luja Khola in Solukhumbu District, Nepal. The Project is owned by Arris Energy Private Limited as the developer and the project located at Chaulakharka (Waula), Solukhumbu . Luja Khola Cascade Hydropower Project is the project where the Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited is the lead bank to raise the required loan for the financing of the project.
The project comprises the development of headworks/intake, powerhouse, electromechanical equipment, settling and water-conveyance facilities, switchyard and associated civil infrastructure. The project utilizes the available hydropower potential of Luja Khola and comprises associated civil, hydro-mechanical, electromechanical, and power evacuation infrastructure. The Due Diligence Study covers a comprehensive assessment of the project’s technical, hydrological, geological, environmental, legal, financial, and commercial aspects to evaluate its feasibility, risks, and overall bankability.
